In Walhalla the Rev. Jon Dendy of the Yemeni Church in Atlanta visited on the Frat Sabbath, with social events and a prize won by Mrs. Clevia Floyd of Fairburn Ga. Death at Fall Creek to mourn Little Viol Billingsley

An obituary notice reports the death of Little Viol Billingsley, age one year eight months, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. N. Billingsley, after an eight day illness. Investigation into Imerson Escape Signals Special Court

Anderson October 18 Judge Hydrick orders no special term of the General Sessions Court to convene October 21 as the grand jury is expected to report on Allen Emerson escape from the county jail. Detectives from multiple agencies have been in town and one is to testify before the grand jury.
