AP Installs Teletype Service at University
A teletype machine began operating in the university school of journalism to provide daily AP service. Operating 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. except Sundays and holidays, it will supply laboratory material for editing and radio news writing to all schools. John J. Hold Strain Rites Today In Alliance
Funeral services are held at 2 p.m. for Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Strain of Alliance. The couple, parents of Dorothy Strain Dover, were killed in a Saturday automobile accident near Alliance while returning from the Kent State Mount Union football game. Mrs. Dover is the wife of Clarence Dover, a Kent State Booster club president and a 1943 Kent State graduate.
