Registrar E C Stopher projected 600 freshmen on Monday and 1100 others on Tuesday as Kent State implements a 12 week quarter plan. Last year fall saw 2277 enrollments with 1727 recorded in the latest slump. Tuition per quarter is 27.50. Bowling Green reported 1310 first day enrollments.

Business administration students won top honors in college examinations given last semester by the trade magazine Criticism, Suggestions and Advice. 30 Army Navy Fliers Taking Classes Here
Thirty men from the Navy and Army enroll in full time Civilian Pilot Training courses on campus. The students live in Davey M Barracks on North River Street with flying headquarters at Mid-City Airport, Hudson. Army graduates will go to cross country CPT fields and Navy airmen to the Iowa Naval Cadet school.

Meteorology Course Open to Pilot Licensed Seniors and Grads
A new meteorology class opens this month and again next January for senior and graduate men and women with pilot licenses. Licenses through the Civilian Pilot Training program or private means are acceptable. Special courses in mathematics and physics are offered to prepare meteorologists, making the January class accessible to those lacking college background.
Freshmen Scholarship Group Receives Tuition Waiver
Ninety one freshmen will register this week as scholarship students. They were cited for general scholastic ability or specialization in art music speech and journalism. President K C Leebrick yesterday signed final cards authorizing the tuition waiver for these students.
