Freshman Rules From Campus Bible Make Fresh Tribunal
A campus code, cited as the freshman bible, requires new students to carry a book, wear dinks, avoid the bronze seal, remove caps in the Atrium, and comply with a fresh tribunal for violations. It bans smoking, mandates hand signals, sign wear, and limits coed contact near the ole cannon until after Thanksgiving.

Scholarships Go To 27 Freshmen At Kent State
Twenty seven freshmen received Kent State university scholarships announced by Dr. H W Hudson chair of the scholarship awards committee. General awards based on need and high school scholarship while seven departmental awards went to music journalism and speech students. About 200 applications were considered.
