Army appoints Colonel William Taylor to 806th ORC battalion
Prof. William D. Taylor head of the School of Journalism was named Battalion commander of the 806th Composite group of the Organized Reserve corps. He served under Gen. MacArthur in the South Pacific and held Lt. Colonel rank on separation. He stressed this is not active duty and the 806th meets twice monthly for instruction.

Will Choose Skirt Winner at Tonight's Social

Akron Beacon Journal writer Helen Waterhouse, top award winner in the Ohio Women’s News paper association, will speak in the Survey in Journalism class in the auditorium tomorrow at 9 a.m. Professor Michael J.
