Kent to Field 110 Piece KSU Band at Akron U Game

A 110 piece Kent State University band will take the field when Kent State plays Akron University in the Rubber Bowl on November 9. The girls’ marching band will join the regular band for the occasion. Their next appearance is at the Baldwin Wallace game the following week.

Council Sells Migration Game Tickets and Bus Passes

Arthur Clayton Poe, associate professor of health and physical education, was named assistant editor in charge of college news columns for the News Bulletin, official organ of the Ohio Physical and Health Education association. Men’s Union Sketching Contest Slated With Nov 1 Deadline

Case debaters prepare for a series of college contests starting October 30 with a national forum topic on forming a permanent Western Hemisphere union. Local Draft Boards Issue Student Numbers In Readiness For Lottery

The 387 Kent students who registered October 17 received numbers from their local draft boards as registration cards were sent in. Communities are divided into about 10 000 sections each with its own board, and numbers are assigned consecutively. The first draw is set for November 29 with each number paired to a nationwide corresponding number. Group one will be called first and notified by local draft boards.

CPT Stages Air Assembly On Aviation Future

Kent State University will host a CPT assembly at 11 a m with speakers led by Prof. Adrian Van Wyen director of CPT. Vincent Mc Devitt notes the event and Rudy Van Devere of Akron Airways will discuss aviation's future. Opportunities for American Men in South America outlined

Carl B. Spaeth told Dr. C. C. Kochenderfer and students Richard Somers and Joe Blair at the Cleveland Export club that South and Latin American countries need young American men to represent business. He urged a Washington foreign trade institute, noting Germany already operates one training men for South American posts.
