University dismisses two freshmen for disciplinary reasons

President George A. Bowman announced that two male freshmen were dismissed from the university over a disciplinary incident. Two women students involved in the same episode have withdrawn from school.

Three finalists named for campus homecoming race

Ruth Ann Gallagher Lois Musick and Marilyn Taylor were chosen as finalists for the campus homecoming election to be decided November 3. There were 57 entrants with finalists selected from junior and senior Coeds holding at least a 2.0 average. The winner will be crowned at the homecoming dance November 6 in Wills gym and attend the Bowling Green Kent game at Rockwell field with the university president’s party.

Plan for Improved Student Council Election Logistics

Voters hear a plan presented to the Student Council Elections Committee Chairman Irv Wheatley for a more efficient election next Tuesday.
