Senior Injured In Auto Crash Near Ravenna
Henry Thomas 25 a senior in the college of liberal arts from Bloomfield New Jersey was hospitalized after a head-on automobile collision Saturday near Ravenna. Doctors reported he was shaken up and his discharge to a university hospital would require Veterans Administration approval. He is in Robinson Memorial hospital today.

Beta Queen Reigns At Ball In 1948 Beta Fall Ball
Nancy Lou Sampsell, a freshman, reigned as Alpha Phi Beta Sweetheart of 1948 at the Beta Fall Ball held Friday Oct 22 at Maple Rest in Rootstown. She was elected from 10 candidates nominated by six sororities and crowned by Don Smith, fraternity president, with a wreath of white roses and a gold compact engraved Beta Queen.
