BC Rally To Give Flashes Send Off
The Booster club sponsors its second pep rally of the year tonight at 9 p.m. at Prenticegate for students cheering the Flash gridiron team. A big turnout is expected with pep band and cheerleaders present. The event includes a snake dance from Prentice gate down Main Street to Willow and to the Hub, ending with a giant bonfire and campus soundtrack reminding students the rally is about to begin.

Backed by the Booster club the KSU migration day train departs Kent on November 5 at 8 45 a m from the B and O rail road terminal and returns from Bowling Green around 12 30 midnight. Delta Tau Delta Expands To Kent State And Names Petition
Delta Tau Delta national approves Kent State University as an expansion field and accepts a petition from Gamma Tau Delta. John N. Hart to lead a committee, with former Gov Thomas J. Herbert and others named to assist. The local group became a local fraternity in 1926 and later left Sigma Tau Gamma in 1946 to resume local status. Current president Guy Shelley leads a 40 member active chapter at 223 E Main St.

Judges To Pick Football Queen
Three judges will select the Homecoming queen to reduce politics. Judges chosen by the Student Council election committee must be art and beauty minded and not from Kent. A queen and two attendants will be chosen with the queen unnamed until the last minute. Participants need a 2.0 overall and 2.0 prior quarter average, and must be juniors or seniors who have not held a major queenship.

All education college students expecting to graduate by end of the summer quarter 1950 must file student teaching applications by October 17. Eight New Members Installed In Kent ROTC Honorary
Eight cadets were inducted into the Kent State chapter of Scabbard and Blade, a national military honor society. Steve Charnas and Jack Longenecker were chosen as representatives to the national convention in Pittsburgh next month and will attend meetings, the Ohio State Penn game, a banquet, and related events.
