Opportunity Knocking Contest Opens for Student Union Name
The university hosts a naming contest for the temporary student union center with a 12 noon Thursday deadline. Entries may not include people names and will be judged by a panel led by Prof William Taylor with Prof Harlan Hungerford and Prof E T Stump. President George A Bowman will pick the final three.

New KSU Halls Open With 600 Student Capacity
North and South Halls at KSU, built behind the heating plant, can handle 600 students hourly. Each double-decker building houses seven classrooms with tablet chairs for 35-50 students, plus rooms for accounting, offices, a drafting room, and rest facilities.
