Greater Campus Visualized With Beginning Of New Road
The highway department will grade a new roadway giving access to the back campus as part of a proposed greater University campus project. The road runs from a driveway near Engleman hall along the women’s athletic field edge and south to parallel the campus east border. Plans call for short distance by the president’s proposed home site, with excavation about 4000 square feet and 3000 of filling. The work is to be completed by the highway department under authorization from Hal Sours. Future plans include men’s dorms, fraternity houses, tennis courts, picnic areas, and a student union building. No new entrances from Summit or Main streets will be built.

Spray Guards Campus Elms From Dayton Jitters
Kent State officials say elms on campus are sprayed and safe as a fungal virus disease spreads through southern and central Ohio. The Dayton outbreak, dubbed Dayton Jitters, has harmed trees while Ohio State areas show about 90 percent affected in the surrounding region.

Small Crowd Attends University Symphony Concert

Theater Members Vote for One Big Dance This Year
