East Lynne opens Freshman play with old melodrama flair
The Freshman production East Lynne entertained last night with a manly hero and tearful heroine led by Don De Simio as the villain. James Sharp as Dill and Lillian Manis as the heroine drew praise, supported by Doris Underwood and a strong cast. Performances continue tonight and tomorrow with tickets available in Merrill Hall.

Victory Football Awarded By KMK For Penny Drive
KMK fraternity resumes the prewar penny drive by offering a winning football autographed by Golden Flash varsity men. The football from the win over Ohio Wesleyan will be awarded on Nov 27 to a donor, with proceeds going to the penny fund aiding students in service. The 1942 KMK award followed a similar wartime effort.
