Graduation Exercises Set For June 7 at Kent State
The 1940 Kent State commencement will honor 284 seniors and graduate students with Dr. Floyd W. Reeves of the American Youth Commission delivering the commencement address on June 7. Baccalaureate speaker is Dr. Harold C. Phillips and invocation by Rev. E N Kelker with another invocation by Rev. H H Hamme. Class Day on May 28 will see Alpha Phi Beta Manhood keys awarded to Leland Zahniser and Gordon Hostettler. The senior gift comes from Dean Manchester and the senior class breakfast is June 4 at Lowry Hall.
