Interviews Begin Monday for Summer and Permanent Work

Job interviews for summer and permanent positions start Monday at 1 p m in the Appointments bureau Atrium. Republic Steel Warren branch will sponsor the first interviews, seeking students, especially those in Warren, for summer employment. Ten Get Jail For OSU Riot

Ohio State University students faced charges of disorderly conduct after a four hour disturbance involving about 5000 attendees. Police and university officials struggled to control the crowd as vehicles were damaged, a fire was started on a Columbus street, and dormitories were entered. University President Bevis vowed investigation and possible action as the incident echoed May week.

Men Prepare for College Qualification Tests Saturday

Students planning to take the college qualification tests must report to the University School auditorium at 8 30 a m. They should bring their draft card and the admission ticket from their local draft board, says Dr Dwight L Arnold director of guidance testing.

Dornback Elected Booster Club President

Don Dornback was elected new president of the Booster club at a meeting yesterday afternoon. Other officers for the coming year are Bill Kleber as vice president Yvonne Garick as secretary and Bob Kotis as treasurer. The group plans a caravan to Brady lake for the Rowboat regatta meeting in front of Engleman hall at 1 15 Saturday and returns at 7 00 p m.

Senior Men Banquet Reservations Notify Dean by Friday

Reservations for the senior men's banquet must be made in the dean of men's office by Friday at 4 p m. Banquet chairman Fred Gaskind states this year's event will honor graduating seniors and be held Monday June 4 at 6 30 p m in the Union ballroom.

Frosh Leaders Schedule Meetings for Freshman Week

Leadership meetings for incoming freshmen are scheduled by Dr. L. S. Hadley. Sessions run May 23 to May 29 with rooms 2040 and 2060. The advisory system pairs upperclassmen with faculty advisors to guide new students through information, exams, traditions, and trial programs.

Skippers Race for Queenship at Bradylake Park

Twenty four coeds sponsored by independent groups, sororities, and fraternities compete for Regatta Queen at Bradylake Park. Judging begins 2 p.m. with races led by independent entries, sorority riders, and fraternity crews followed by an interfraternity tug-of-war. Park dance 5 to 7 p.m. Practice today and tomorrow for rowboat races listed on page 3.

Honors Day program at University auditorium

The annual Honors Day ceremony starts at 11 at the University auditorium with Dr C Stanley Corey delivering defense of useless knowledge. Top scholars Beverly Biro and Rudy Comstock are recognized for high achievement while sororities and fraternities receive awards from Panhellenic and Interfraternity councils.
