Three Kent State victims expelled students Lewis Trivissono Louis Sabetta and Julius Campetto face 60 days in jail plus fines after attacking a 34 year old man on Summit street extension. Alpha Phi Omega Builds Kent State Victory Bell
Alpha Phi Omega sponsors a 4:30 Saturday dedication on the Kent State Commons beside Stopher hall for a victory bell signaling athletic triumphs. The seven foot high brick housing, designed by Roger Kettering with drawings by Arvid Johnson, was built by the nine man pledge class with help from bricklayers.

Retail Senior Wins $1000 NYU Scholarship
John Munich a retail management major from Akron has won a $1000 scholarship to the New York University School of Retailing. The first annual award by Halle Brothers of Cleveland covers one year of graduate study in store management. Munich, a Kent State veteran, will graduate in August and enter NYU in the fall after selection on academics interviews and a personal essay.
