The second Penny Carnival sponsored by Blue Key at Wills gym raised about 392 to fund the Dean Raymond E. Manchester Penny Drive Fund for sending publications to service men. An official notice of approval of the student constitution will be sent to Dr. K C Leebrick with a request to name faculty representatives for new committees promptly after last night’s council action. New council members include Dottie Starkey Don Wargs sky Alice Cox Marilou Sowash Ethel Day Tom Harris Betty Bunnel Jean Hungerford Martha Jean Lauderbaugh and Joe Marg. Joe Mary and Bill Keene were appointed to the publications committee for the rest of the quarter and Bernie Harris urged keeping the “torch” lit as a symbol of ongoing effort.
