Rathbone to Speak at Auditorium Tomorrow Morning
Basil Rathbone, famed actor across stage film radio and TV, will present dramatic interpretations and a lecture on The Magic of the Theatre at the Auditorium tomorrow at 11 a.m. The program includes Shakespeare readings Bible passages and a Sherlock Holmes recreation. Sponsored by the assembly committee at KSU, admission is free.

Smith H Line Leaves KSU for Air Force Job
Smith H Line, assistant professor of accounting at KSU, leaves the university to join the Air Force procurement division in Akron as contract specialist. He will oversee vendor contract compliance for equipment purchases let from Dayton, reporting to Major Greenhorn and a Cleveland colonel. He has served as auditor for the State.

Theta Kaps Give To Stater Fund
Theta Kappa Phi turned over forty three dollars to the Stater Penny Fund. Thirty members helped in a campus collection last Thursday while the fraternity attended a tri chapter meet at Ohio State on May 3. Tony Ferrato and Ed Core led the project.

The Cleveland Play House brings Rosemary Casey's The Velvet Glove to the University auditorium Sunday evening May 18 at 8 15 featuring Helen Watkins as the mother superior alongside Gordon Hatfield Paul Orgill and a full cast. The show, a record breaking 17 week run this year, was produced in New York in 1949 with Grace George and Walter Hampden and is praised for wit wisdom and charm. Admission is free under University Entertainment committee sponsorship.

Regatta Exam Sets Tests for Rowboat Participants
Swimming tests for rowers and alternates in the Rowboat Regatta run today and tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the MPE building. All competitors must pass to be eligible, with no tests after 4 45 p.m. If not passed today, students may test tomorrow. tests end tomorrow. Students must provide their own bathing suits.

Seniors Granted Brief Class Break Before Commencement
President George A Bowman announces graduating seniors will miss classes June 3 to 6 to handle campus obligations. Commencement practice is set for June 3 at 1 am in the Auditorium with all seniors required to attend. Dr Gerald Chapman notes the dues fund a class memorial and has collected $1 per senior mainly from December and March completers at the bookstore.

Burr Vouchers Chestnut Burr Editor Ed Cliney announced distribution schedules for yearbook vouchers and yearbooks. Vouchers and annuals are available at the University warehouse opposite Stopher hall between noon and 4 p.m. daily this week, except Friday when distribution ends at 2 p.m. About 3,000 yearbooks have already been distributed.

Pershing Rifles Drill Meet At Ohio University
PR meets for drill as Kent’s Pershing Rifle Company joins 14 outfits from Ohio Kentucky and West Virginia at Ohio University May 15 to 17 for a three day meet. More than 500 students expected to participate in rifle matches and drills with events at Athens High School stadium Friday night under lights. Miss Joyce Fierstos will travel with the unit and be presented at the dance after a Friday morning start and Saturday night banquet.

Last-Minute $1 Prom Tickets For May 29 Dance
Two days remain to buy Junior-Senior Prom tickets at 1 per person. After Thursday the price rises to 1.25. The event May 29 at Meyer's Lake features Tommy Tucker's 14 piece band with promotions and queen selection during intermission.
