Orchestra and Choir Bring KSRW Show to Merrill Hall
The University orchestra and a capella choir present a 80 minute Radio Workshop program from Merrill Hall at 4 p m. Miss Elfreda Littlejohn conducts the choir performing Kyrie Eleison. Kenneth Byler leads the orchestra in Bach’s Choral and Fugue in G Minor. Clara Biasella solos Listen to the Lambs. The combined ensemble closes with Boris Godounov’s coronation scene with Joseph Lupkiewicz as Boris and Robert Shaffer as Shuisky. A second music department program follows next week with the women’s glee club and band.
