Heart Attack Takes Former Dean Dr Earl Crecraft 64
Dr Earl Willis Crecraft 64 long time political science professor and former dean of Kent State liberal arts died yesterday of a heart ailment. He fell ill at home after returning from a drive and passing away about 5 pm. Born January 27 1886 in Brookville Indiana he earned degrees from Franklin College Columbia University and University of Akron and taught at multiple institutions before joining the Akron faculty in 1919 and Kent State in 1938. Funeral services will be held at Akron Presbyterian Church with time pending.

The 1950 Penny Carnival at Will Gym runs 7 to 10 30 pm with 32 campus groups competing for three trophies based on money raised. Proceeds go to campus charities and a new scholarship fund. Blue Key and Cardinal Key co sponsor with funds counted before awards.

Must Register 50 Car Plates
Student drivers must register their 1950 license plates with the traffic bureau even if numbers match last year. Les Morgan, traffic director, says registration is open through the quarter for late starters. Four university parking areas serve student drivers at football field south end Summit and Terrace drive behind Moulton hall and on Terrace drive in designated spots.

Wesleyans Plan Sunrise Palm Sunday Service
The Wesleyans will hold an all-university sunrise service on Palm Sunday at 7 am on the Training school steps with Akron Methodist minister Dr. J B Rosemargy speaking on The Jerusalems of Life. All off campus students in Kent must fill census forms today. Forms distributed in Stater boxes at Kent and Merrill halls and in the Kent State union check room. Return completed forms to house mothers by Saturday morning for the 17th Decennial Census by the Census Bureau.
