Wooddell Returns After Two Months at University
Lawrence Wooddell, biology instructor and maintenance superintendent, resumed duties last week after a two month illness from a cerebral hemorrhage. He said he feels fine and is glad to be back. The maintenance supervisor, on staff since 1940, previously served as state director of conservation. He noted plans to add feeding ledges around campus for squirrels.

Freshmen Elect Dick Riley Vice President in Low Turnout
Dick Riley won the freshmen class vice presidency with 25 votes, defeating Calvin Logan with 19 and Dorothy Gerber with nine of 53 ballots cast amid low turnout. Riley is a Dover Ohio native and PE major who captained the basketball team and scored 86 points this season while serving as a Sigma Sigma Sigma house boy.

Cadet Nurse Unit Thirty Five to Enroll at University
Thirty five cadet nurses from Aultman hospital Canton will enroll at the University in the spring quarter under a 27 credit hour program. They will leave in June for practical hospital positions.
