Vet Affairs Notices 60 day review limit and GI bill details

The Veterans Administration reminds veterans they have 60 days after a notice of proposed disallowance to request a review or submit additional evidence. It explains the review, possible formal hearing within 14 days of disallowance, and addresses for submission. The VA outlines subsistence pay under the GI bill, eligibility rules for women veterans, hospital access, and private hospital limits for non service connected disabilities. It lists states considering or enacting bonus bills and states already paying bonuses, with deadlines and retirements from service. A veteran asks how long readjustment allowance remains, and the answer states a two year claim window from discharge or July 25, 1947, whichever is later, creating a deadline around July 25, 1949.
