University Orchestra and Choirs Present March 9 Concert
The University orchestra directed by Walter Cerveny and the University choirs led by Prof. Caro Carapetyan will perform March 9 at 8 p.m. in the auditorium. Selections include Schubert Symphony No. 5 and Beethoven Coriolan Overture with Haydn Mass No. 3 Imperial performed by the ensemble and A Cappella choir featuring soloists Evelyn Kolesar Irene Brodbeck Marjorie Barrett Roland Potter Neil Davis. Admission is free.

Fly Boys Brief Students On Pilot Program Today
College men may talk with two Air Force officer-pilots in Moulton music hall about the aviation cadet training program. Applicants ages 20 to 24 must be in good shape and meet education standards. The interview team will conduct aptitude tests and provisional 12 month flight training leading to a pilot rating and commission. Successful trainees receive training in Texas, Arizona or Louisiana and, after graduation, become second lieutenants on active duty with a minimum three year service. Starting earnings after 12 months are about 4000 dollars per year with extensive benefits.
