Vet Election Set by K-Vets Tomorrow at Kent Hall
Election of fall quarter officers will be held by the K Vets in 210 Kent hall tomorrow after noon at 4 o'clock President Ted Baskin announces New officers will serve each quarter and the group will be inactive during the summer After this quarter the K Vets will not reside in their own house The final function of 1944 45 will be social dancing in Wills gym Wednesday evening A hayride was sponsored by the K Vets Saturday night with a chicken dinner and record dancing at a local farm

Dexter publishes multiple articles in science journals
Dr. Ralph W. Dexter, assistant professor of biology, has an article in Science Education titled Bird Study as an Educational Project. His piece Zonation of the Intertidal Marine Mollusks at Cape Ann Massachusetts will appear in The Nautilus. Wickenden Of Case To Speak At KSU Graduation Exercises
Wickenden Of Case will address the Kansas State University graduation exercises. At a Student Council meeting three new allocating agents were approved for the social assembly and entertainment committees. Betty Brown recommended admitting the Independent Students association constitution. Dean Frew Musselman was elected entertainment committee chair.

Case School to Hold 1945 Commencement Events
Dr. William Elgin Wickenden of Case School of Applied Science will deliver the 1945 commencement address to 117 graduates in the University auditorium Monday at 10 a.m. A senior convocation, luncheon, and Alumni Banquet accompany the ceremonies with speakers including Bud Gerber and Robert Hall.

Five Chimney Swifts Return To KSU After Winter Abroad
Five chimney swifts return to Kent Hall at Kansas State University after wintering in South America. Dr. Ralph Dexter, biology assistant professor, previously trapped and banded the birds in 1943 and 1944. The group includes two mates from 1944 and two hatchlings, with one adult having raised four in another shaft.

Pi Gamma Mu Initiates Five At Local Chapter
Four students and a sociology faculty member were initiated by the local Pi Gamma Mu chapter. Dr Delbert Miller joined the University faculty this year and was accepted as a member. Alois Zaremba, Mary Jane Wertenberger, Anita Allen, and Dorothy Ackerman were also initiated. Dr James Laing was elected chapter adviser to replace Dr William Sheperd who will not return in the fall.

Officer Donates 25 Dollars to Penny Drive
Lieut j g Bill Schraegle sent a 25 dollar money order to Dean Raymond Manchester's Penny Drive from the Pacific. Schraegle, a June 1942 liberal arts graduate and secretary of the KSU Legion, serves as second in command on the U S S Mulberry and has heard from Jim Rybak, a March 1943 education graduate now with a military government unit near Nuremberg Germany.
