UN Committee Urges Kent Public Action For World Peace
A Kent town meeting at city hall urged public action to prevent another war. Rev. Joseph Henderson led the gathering as subcommittees of students townspeople and faculty were formed to spread the message. A next meeting was set for Tuesday night to discuss policy and resolutions.

Students Aided Synthetic Rubber Research at Kent State
Students at Kent State University aided the war effort by assisting in synthetic rubber research. GRS-10 production reached about 800 000 tons annually after experiments showed scalable manufacturing.
