Full Time CPT Flyers Move Into Moulton Hall This Week
Mass moving day for twenty CPT students from all over Ohio into Moulton hall will take place Saturday. The new residents will live on the second floor of the dormitory. Navy elementary training students include Edward Asher and Joseph Centa among others. The secondary flight training students include Thomas Bates and Paul Fedor.

Former Students Are First Naval Flying Casualties
Ensign Henry Heinie Herbert, former University of Kent State student and Delta Phi Sigma member, died when his bomber ferrying aircraft crashed last Sunday near San Antonio Texas amid wartime aviation losses. Ensign Russell Kenyon, missing since the Midway battle, had left the University in 1940. Herbert enrolled in 1940 first semester. Cuya hoga Falls resident Herbert served as a Navy aviator.

Baton Is Just What The Doc Ordered
Roger Lee national high school twirling champion and editor of School Musician began baton twirling on a doctor’s prescription during a summer band clinic. He pursued the sport after a nervous breakdown and to qualify as drum major, finding in twirling his main recovery exercise.

They arrange a Mantua township mass meeting on housing agriculture recreation safety and law enforcement with the Mantua Chamber of Commerce. Education for Victory War Course Set in McGilvrey Hall

Novotny to Give Art Talk Tonight
E. Ladislaw Novotny associate professor of art will discuss the traveling oil paintings from the Cleveland May show at 7 p m in the University second floor art gallery. The exhibition features Cleveland artists Carl Gaertner Paul Travis Frank Wilcox and Henry Keller and includes Novotny’s own Cock Fight in Cuba. The Cleveland works stay until July 15 before an American Indian watercolor show from the Riverside museum New York replaces them.

Former KSU Student Joins Objectors' Camp
Joseph S. Blair Jr., a 1942 graduate of KSU, left late last night for a conscientious objectors camp in Walhalla, Michigan. He was business manager of the Stater and president of Delta Sigma Pi while at the university.
