New Vocational Electives Cut From Government Aid
Veterans co ordinator Dewey Barich announces that starting July 1 1948 elective courses not essential to a degree or training plan will not be government funded. Preexisting enrollees are unaffected. Discontinued courses include flight, piloting, bartending, dancing, music, public speaking, sports and more with required proof of necessity approved by Cleveland office.

Phi Beta Phi Dance To Aid Stadium Drive
Phi Beta Phi fraternity holds a summer frolic dance on Friday July 23 at Meyer's Lake park Canton to raise funds for the stadium drive. Ray Robinson and his orchestra will play from 8 30 p m to midnight in open air gardens. Tickets cost 2 00 per couple and may be bought at the door or from members or at 603 East Main. The drive surpassed its 10 000 quota in spring, and 25 underprivileged boys will attend a Indians game this week from the fraternity house.
