The Kent State University journalism department will host its eleventh annual short course March 18 to 21 directed by Vincent S. Jones. Sessions cover color and black and white photography with a manufacturer's round table. Competition classes include spot news feature sports series versatility originality industrial color and newspaper exhibit. English composition test for education students today
All college of education students in fifth quarter or with 64 quarter hours must take the English composition test today in room 106 Merrill from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The test lasts two hours. Students unavailable at those times will be excused from classes.

Five finalists chosen for Miss KSU crown at Kent State

NTFC to Charge Admission for 1952 Show
Allocation cuts force a new admission fee for NTFC's two 1952 performances. With an activity card the price is 25 cents, or 60 cents without. Alex Fraser Ray Metzinger wrote and produced the annual show with music mainly by Jack Swan, playing Thursday and Friday at 8 15 PM.

Men sign up to suspend shaving in unity contest
Thirty eight men registered for the third annual Men’s union board growing contest on the first day of registration. The drive extended one day and continues today and tomorrow between Kent hall and the Atrium with a 10 cent entry fee benefiting the Stater Penny fund for KSU servicemen.
