Hershey Announces Draft Rule Change For Students
Gen. Lewis B. Hershey, head of the selective service, says students called for induction may finish the school year and choose their branch. The reform ends a mid term dropout problem by letting students defer until school ends while still enabling enlistment in a preferred service. Geraldine Carroll ranked in the best ten at the Great Lakes Debating tournament held at Bowling Green State University.
