A Kent State editor reports 60 students signed a letter in under 20 minutes in the halls and Hub urging the $1500 surplus to be given to the Stadium Drive. The group argues majority student opinion supports turning the funds over to the Stadium Drive over choir or reserve funds.
Carolyn Stofcho of Alpha Omega sorority won the Sweetheart title over 11 contestants in a contest judged by Jack Carson via long distance call. She will be honored at the Portage hotel in Akron with a trophy and a Heart of Roses bouquet during tonight’s Sweetheart dance.

Three Kent State students will join a radio series airing college news and personalities from northern Ohio. Tom Davey John Finn and Martha Lansinger will appear on the inaugural WTAM program Saturday January 31 from 1115 p.m. to 1 a.m. The 18 week series will feature Kent State with Fenn college support and university news bureaus.
RW Presents War Fantasy at 10 45 a m Saturday in a radio adaptation of Shaw and anti war theme. The play focuses on soldiers who refuse to be buried after death and will be directed by Jim Bul 7.
