Band Numbers To Be Aired By Workshop
The University radio workshop at WADC Akron airs the first of a series of musical numbers to preview the Northeastern Ohio competitive music festival to be held April 10 and 11. Today at 4 p m the program features class C and CD high school selections with future broadcasts to cover class A and B school numbers. Harold Hansen calls the effort the workshop’s most important task and says it will boost radio as a university educational facility and help high school groups hear the festival music they will perform.

Vogel To Describe Escape From Germany
Ernest Vogel will describe his escape from Germany at the student forensic association meeting set for tomorrow at 4 p m in 316 Kent hall. Scheffel Pierce announced the event, noting Vogel’s first appearance before a student group amid prior talks to faculty and professional bodies. Admittance is open to association members and their guests.

Jean Hungerford, journalism sophomore and Sigma Sigma Sigma member, joins the Miss Kent State race representing the Stat Party. University to Offer Navy Work Courses Next Semester
The University will add Navy Reserve aligned courses for juniors and seniors enlisting in the Naval Reserve, subject to demand.
