Traffic fines set university record for last quarter
Les Morgan reports the university traffic division collected 635 dollars in fines in the last quarter, the highest total ever. September through December amounts were 111, 68, 106, and 350 dollars respectively, with December boosted by freshman week parking violations. The system began in spring 1947, total now 3,112 dollars, and a revised license plate registration by April 1 will impose a 1 dollar fine for unregistered licenses.
