Dr Wilma Leslie Garnett associate professor of English left Sun day to take a senior specialist post in extended school programs at the U S Office of Education in Washington D C. She began work yesterday with a federal security agency to study extended school services for communities with many employed mothers. Garnett joined Kent State in 1937 from Eastern State Normal Madison S D where she headed the education department.
