The KSU men's debate team finished sixth with five wins and seven losses at the Ohio Men's Intercollegiate Debate Conference in Columbus. OSU won with 11 1 and Muskingum second with nine 3. the question was federal wage and price controls.

Student Dies Another Hurt In Holiday Weekend Crashes
Ernest E. Jenkins 18 of Canton died at Aultman Hospital from a car truck crash on Route 62 near Richville. Rhys Hasley, a Delta Tau Delta pledge, remained critical after a Solon crash on Liberty Road. Hasley suffered a dislocated hip, broken knee cap, brain concussion and possible broken back.
