Band Presents Winter Concert By KSU Symphonic Band
The University Symphonic Band directed by Roy D. Metcalf performs its winter concert at 8 15 tonight in the auditorium with no admission charge. Guest conductors Roland Gamble and Lee McMillen conduct two numbers each. Highlights include Kent State Wins by Paul Evans and works by Beethoven Christiansen Strauss Holst Wagner Coates Hanson Buchtel and Massenet. Evelyn Kolesar sings the Alma Mater.

Juniors Plan For Prom and Pop Ball at Kent
More than 150 juniors have paid dues for the Popularity ball and Junior-Senior Prom in Kent. The Pop ball is set for the third week in April in Wills gym. the Prom May 29 at Meyers Lake Park, Canton. If weather allows, the outdoor ballroom will be used. Dues total 1.50 dollars per student with 740 remaining. Tickets will be issued to those paying by Feb 26 at the junior class meeting or via named contacts, with pickup arrangements if needed.
