Kent State University and Case Tech tied for first place after seven of eight rounds at the tenth Buckeye Debate tournament with 132 debates held. Kent A team members were Ron Rice Tom McManus Gary Banas Al Pontius. B team included Sonia Andel Ron Summers Betty Cosetti Joan Webster James N Holm directed future events.

Quiet One film schedule adds noon showing in McGilvrey
The Quiet One, a documentary drama about Donald Peters raised by his grandmother and sent to a correction school, screens at 6 and 8 p.m. in 104 Arts with the library and AV center. An extra noon showing is at 12 in 317 McGilvrey. The 67 minute film follows his struggle and return to school.

Choir Sings At Folk Festival In Cleveland
The Kent State University A Capella choir directed by Robert H. Foulkes performed at the fourth annual Folk festival at Epworth Euclid Methodist church in Cleveland.
