Baumann Wins Queenship Amid Possible Election Protest
Lea Baumann won the Miss Kent State queen title amid a possible protest over use of student mailboxes for campaigning. Elections chair Charles Fletcher noted two candidates may have used the mailboxes, but no rule forbids it and an official investigation would start only if a protest is filed. Blue and Gold party swept two council seats with Paul Bilchak and Nancy Pease elected.

Speaker Father Berzinec to discuss Democracy or Communism
Father Gregory G. Berzinec will speak on Democracy or Communism tomorrow at 8 p.m. in the auditorium. He spent 18 years in the Balkans and currently teaches Russian. During World War I he served as an OSS officer and later as a chaplain in the Transportation Corps.
