Sweater Day Dance Sparks Campus Booth and Shag Contest

The sophomores unveil Sweat er Swagger on campus tonight with a shag contest during intermission and a comedy skit by Stanley Mouse and Bill Guisewite. Alf Bottomley’s orchestra will provide music, decorations led by Betty Bowles, and Dick Hill’s committee runs the intermission program. Cups await shag winners. hours extended to 1 a.m. with sweater attire required. Don Hawley and Ed Boyle chair the event with Augusto Quattrochi handling publicity.

Firefly cast finalized by Prof Wright for March show

Prof G Harry Wright announced the leading roles for Friml's Firefly operetta. The production, sponsored by the speech department and University theatre, runs March 13 and 14 with Irving Waterbury as Jack Travers and Mildred Cukrov, Geraldine Brown, and others in key parts.
