Sophomore Sweater Swagger at Kent State Night of Dances
The Kent State University Sophomore class hosts the second annual Sweater Swagger in Wills Gym from 10 to 1. The event follows Sweater Day, with booster club and local merchants aiding the effort. Death Claims Kent Graduate Ella Lamb Ingersoll
Mrs. Ella Lamb Ingersoll, 67, died Tuesday night at Akron St. Thomas hospital. One of Kent State Normal School’s first enrollees, she graduated from Kent in 1916, taught in Warren for four years, then earned a 1925 Bachelor of Science degree at Kent. She studied at Columbia University and was among the district’s oldest educators with many former pupils prominent in business and public life.

Kelly to Speak At Chi Pi Dinner
Eugene Kelly, director of Cleveland Public Schools, will be the principal speaker at the Chi Pi dinner for the journalism department’s winter meeting at the Robin Hood.
