UDC Sets Up Armed Service Data Library
The University defense council will establish a complete library of information on admissions to the armed services. Dean Raymond E. Manchester announced the project, with a new defense office to be housed in Merrill Hall room 303. Desks and files are ordered and the office will be organized during Christmas vacation. A full time defense council secretary may be hired. The council will also compile a roster of students and alumni in the services and create an advice headquarters on selective service ratings.

Five Students Named Delegates to National Methodist Conference
A Kent delegation joins about 1 500 students from colleges across the United States for the Second National Methodist Student Conference at the University of Illinois Urbana from December 29 to January 2.
