Kent State University presents Handel's Messiah with faculty townspeople and students in the chorus. The 3 p.m. Sunday concert in the university auditorium features Elsie Swan on piano and Gladys Foley on organ. University Carolling Event Unites Campus Groups
Kent plans a Sunday carolling gathering in the atrium at 7 p.m. to form seven groups and serenade faculty and shut ins across town. The event marks the first time all campus organizations join for caroling with a police escort guiding groups to faculty homes.
