Cardinal Key Taps December 17 Messiah Event

Women Debate Team Splits At Ohio Conference Meet
The women's squad finished fourth at the Ohio Conference tournament in Columbus after a 6 6 record. Jean Cook and Elinore Hildebrand defeated Muskingham Denison and Wittenberg while Ardath Amond and Elizabeth Piotter beat Ohio Wesleyan Toledo and Earlham. The pair also dropped rounds to Bowling Green Capital and Allegheny, the tourney winners.

Student Government Debates Chestnut Burr Finance Next Year
The Student Government association weighed options for funding the Chestnut Burr yearbook at a meeting in the University auditorium. A plan to run the book independently of the activity fee drew opposition for higher costs, while others urged raising the general activity fee so all students contribute. A final decision is slated for January before February trustee deliberations. Ethel Day reported allocations ratings with varsity athletics top among priorities.
