Karamu lyric theater brings Gian Carlo Menotti opera The Medium to the university auditorium for two performances on May 1. An 2 p.m. matinee and 8 p.m. evening show will be open to the public at no charge. Benno D. Frank directs the first campus appearance of Karamu’s operatic ensemble.

High School Play Day Promises Circus Themed Activities
High school Play Day sponsored by the Women's Athletic Association and the HPE department brings over 150 girls and 25 teachers to the campus tomorrow. WKSU Orders Transmitter for New FM Outlet
Walton Clarke head of the School of Speech radio division says WKSU placed an order with General Electric for the transmitter antenna and transmission line. The bid total is 1504.50 dollars and delivery is expected within thirty days after installation allows the station to begin broadcasting.

Kent State to Move Clocks Ahead for Daylight Savings
President George A Bowmen announced clocks at Kent State will jump one hour Sunday to start daylight saving time aligning with Kent Akron Cleveland and Canton. Return to standard time is set for September 24.

Suggestions Boxes Erected On Campus By Student Council
The Constitution Revision committee, with help from carpenters and the paint department, has installed two suggestion boxes on campus. One sits at the Booster booth shelf, the other near the Student Union ballroom entrance. Students may submit ideas or questions about student government affairs.

Chime Fund Delayed to May 9 at Kent Campus
The men’s union delays the chime fund drive to May 9 to raise 18000 dollars for chimes 36 Flemish and English made chimes 61 bell carillon and an amplifier on the administration building. Students alumni and townspeople urged to donate at least one dollar through spring quarter. Committee members Bill Riley Harry Muldovan and Jerry McFadden oversee the drive.

TK Searches For Prettiest Coed Pledge
The prettiest sorority pledge will be chosen at an all university dance sponsored by the Tau Kappa pledge class in the Union ballroom on Friday May 5. Sororities may enter pledges by submitting pictures at Merrill hall next week. no size requirement. Tickets are $1 per couple or 60 cents single.
