Six University Women to Appear in Minstrel Show
Six University women will perform in the Elks Charity Minstrel in the auditorium on April 27 and 28 at 8 15 p m. The skit Bessie in the Bustle features Ruby Ronson Margaret Martin Isabelle McCue Dortha Kohr Mary Lou Astrup and Marian Anderson. The amateur cast includes seventy people in ten specialty acts to raise funds for the local polio drive. Tickets go on sale in the atrium and at Thompson's drug store and Trorys music shop with general admission at fifty cents and reserved seats at one dollar.

Student Government tohold spring quarter meeting today
Don Wargowsky Student Council president will preside at the spring quarter meeting of the Student Government Association at 11 in the Auditorium. The old Council will report to the student body and be dismissed. Wargowsky will seat the new officers and members. Matters of student policies will be discussed. Former Student Dies In German Camp
Pfc. Robert L. Sprenkle, 20, of Cuyahoga Falls, Akron area, the first local prisoner of war to die in a German camp, died February 23 from unknown causes. He attended the University in 1943, was missing in Germany December 19, 1944, and wrote January 10 from a prison camp on the Elbe near Berlin after serving in the infantry. While at the University he studied liberal arts.

Myser Receives Ohio State Assistantship
Willard Sonny Myser has an assistantship at Ohio State University in zoology and entomology. A September 1944 education graduate, he active in Delta Phi Sigma and Blue Key, now teaches biology and chemistry at Ravenna Township High School. He married Mary Hadsell in September 1943. she is a senior in business administration and member of Alpha Omega sorority.

Tea Dancing Thursday At 4
The first in a series of informal tea dances will be held tomorrow from 4 to 5 30 p m in room 119 Kent hall. Concert Singers Reunite After 25 Years at University
Frances Watson head resident of Engleman hall and former coloratura soprano met Bryce Fogle baritone of the Ionian singers at the University Monday night. Both from Sharon Pennsylvania where they first sang together. Watson studied voice at Damrosch School in New York. Fogle hopes to return next fall as a soloist. he is the pianist of the current quartet.

Dr Hudson Sprains Ankle Driving To Campus

Olson Survives Forced March After B 24 Crash in 1944
Lieutenant Olson and crew parachuted to earth when their B 24 was shot down near Munich on June 13 1944. Prisoners at Stalag Luft I in Sagan endured a 10 day march to Moosburg with limited food while frostbite and illness affected many fliers.
