Northeast Ohio Scholastic Press Clinic Opens With 1000 Delegates
More than 1,000 high school journalists are expected for the fourth annual Northeastern Ohio Scholastic Press Clinic in Cleveland. Jack Raper, 77, renowned columnist and host of Most Anything, will keynote the convention and speak at the closing banquet. The Saturday program features opening remarks at 9, a dramatized news event, and competitions for best news story, photography, and feature writing judged by local instructors. A Sunset dance and a 6:45 banquet at Twin Lakes Country Club round out the events with H. C. Lehman serving as chairman.
