Taft Speech Hits Truman Term Berea Protests Election
Bette Cossetti, chair of the elections committee, received a protest letter from John Berea regarding the April 15 elections. Berea, Blue and Gold party chair, signed as an elections committee member and objected to student council and Men's Union representation based on registrar class lists not obtained for last week’s elections. He had previously supported the motion in elections committee.

Fraternities Launch New Rush Plan This Week
The Interfraternity Council starts an open rushing program this quarter with four nights of smoker tours. Prospective pledges visit 12 fraternities, each group visiting three houses over 45 minutes. Open smokers begin at 201 Union with four nights of events ending Thursday.

Music Blanks Still Available For Faure Requiem
Students and townspeople may obtain application blanks from the music office at 315 Merrill to join a Faure Requiem performance on Tuesday May 27 at 8 15 p m in the Auditorium. Dr Ralph Hartzell will direct with Louis P Erch leading the orchestra. Rehearsals are every Tuesday at 7 30 in 309 Merrill. No prior vocal training required.

Special election planned for senior class council seat
