Eighteen Nominated for University May Queen 1943
Eighteen University women were chosen as candidates for the 1943 May queen title to be announced at Campus Night on May 8. Petitions are due April 23 in the dean of women's office. Sorority groups back the candidates and two judges from Akron and Cleveland will assist in the selection. The queen and attendants will process from the atrium to a throne between Rockwell Library and Kent Hall, with bleachers for spectators.

Eleven More Sign To Donate Blood Drive
Eleven more students signed up yesterday at the university dispensary to donate blood in the American Red Cross drive for plasma. The donor unit will be at the Methodist church on April 30 from 11 30 to 5 p m. Minors need parental written consent to sign up.

Blue Key To Sponsor Penny Drive Carnival
Blue Key, the men's national service honorary, will sponsor a Penny Drive Carnival tentatively set for Saturday May 15. Campus groups are invited to provide attractions and proceeds will go to the Penny Drive. Buckeye Tree to Be Dedicated on Campus
Arbor Day event at the University postponed to Thursday at 4:15 p m on the east bank. A buckeye tree will be dedicated for 15 former students who died in World War II with remarks by Dean Raymond E Manchester and H S Wagner.
