A slate of candidates for Women's league positions was approved at a Wednesday meeting. Voting by the student body is set for April 22. Nominees include Shirley Edwards for president and Jo Haggerty for president alternate. Marian Cleaton and Barbara Berg for second vice president. Eleanore Krempasky and Priscilla Thompson for secretary. Holly Gier for treasurer. Elizabeth Robinson for student court chairman.

Council Sets April 22 Election Date and Approves Australian Ballot
The student council moved general elections to Friday April 22 to meet the 15 day post deadline rule. It approved the Australian ballot system as faster and simpler, appointing Wade Milford to head the elections committee with Lydia Mihok Virginia Horn and Sally Schell. Installation Planned for Kent State Commons Club
The Kent State Commons club will be installed as the Kent State chapter of the American Association of Commons Clubs at the Yale Edge in Ravenna on April 30. ACC chapter representatives from University of Cincinnati Denison University and Adrian College will attend. The group, founded in January 1948, has worked with its mother chapter at Denison since forming and is advised by Dr. F. Dewey Amner.
