Former Junction Woman's Husband Killed
W H Perron, 45, engineer of the ferryboat A M Holliday, died after a midstream accident in Algiers Louisiana. He was struck in the chest by a moving crank shaft while adjusting a rope and died at the hospital. He leaves a wife Miss Susie Cloud and two sons.

Grandpa Ballard found an 8 inch centipede near Brownwood and neighbor G E Chaney brought it to town in a jar. A. I. Fabis handled the creature on his bare hand and then returned it to the jar, showing centipedes do not bite people. Webster notes venomous stings but says they are not dangerous.
