Presbyterian Have New Pastor Here In Kerrville
Rev. Robert Hutchens from Gary Indiana moves to Kerrville to lead Rock Springs and Junction Presbyterian churches with Junction on the first Sunday each month and Rock Springs the other Sundays. He replaces Rev. Downing who has preached at the Methodist Church for about a year. Local Presbyterians plan a new church on owned lots while funds are raised. W R McKee travels to San Antonio to bring home Mrs McKee who has been under specialists care for two weeks and shows improvement.

Junction Man Goben Dies After Weeklong Illness
David Frederick Goben born December 22 1852 in Mooresville Missouri died Saturday morning at his Junction home after about a week of illness. He moved to Texas in 1871 and married Elmira Hart in 1883 in Lampasas County. He leaves a widow three sons and a daughter. Funeral Sunday at the Baptist Church officiated by Rev J A Dekle with burial in the local cemetery. He was a longtime member of the I C C F lodge and worked as a blacksmith and repairman later operating a modern machine shop. Burial and services noted with fraternal and church affiliations.

Baptist Revival Closes After Largest Attendance
The Baptist Revival ended Sunday night after two weeks of services led by Rev. Oren C. Reid, with sixteen new converts and twelve baptisms. A Schreiner Park baptismal service added nine of the new members. Reid and family departed for Brownwood, and a Scallorn revival in Mills County was postponed. Regular services will resume at the Baptist Church Sunday.
