Menard Baptist Encampment Bulletin Now Off the Press
The Official Bulletin of the Menard Baptist Encampment to be held August 14 to 24 in the little city is printed and distributed. Brady, Melvin, Menard and Eden are featured with descriptive articles on their advantages. Junction businesses occupy six pages of ads and local scenes are shown. Menard expects thousands for its first encampment, with attendees promised much to learn and enjoy. Photographs by J. E. Grinstead along the Guadalupe show San Saba beauty spots, Cypress trees prominent.

The State of Texas issues citation by publication to the sheriff or constable of Kimble County for the case No. 515 filed July 5, 19% against defendants including Robe For cause of action plaintiffs J T Hughes and Isis Wyatt Hughes allege that on about February 1 1825 they were lawfully seized of land in Kimble County Texas and defendant entered and ejected them and withheld possession causing damages of 36000 6 cents The land comprises multiple tracts with metes and bounds described by surveys Certificates Abstracts and patents to William Appleton G Ryan Con and others The notices reference original grantees T W WN G Ry Con ad and G Keith Gordon among others and include Patent numbers volumes and dates from 1877 5738 and 1884 The discussion lists five tracts totaling several hundred acres with detailed boundary descriptions and references to patent records in Kimble County Texas The citation directs publication in the nearest newspaper if none exists in Kimble County and sets the date for the court term beginning September 7 1925
